The TOEFL Primary Teacher Workshop is a forum for English-language educators of young learners to share and build on their current practices by participating in a supportive and challenging professional development experience.
This one-day workshop incorporates and promotes best practices in teaching and learning by introducing information and tools to:
- Become more familiar with the TOEFL Primary tests and learning materials
- Analyze teaching and learning needs
- Design materials, encourage learners to communicate, and adapt instruction to age, needs, and learning styles
- Design and implement instruction (curricula, lesson plans, and tasks) with clear goals and objectives, aligned to local contexts
- Develop meaningful strategies and procedures to assess students’ skills and abilities and provide continuous constructive feedback
